I got my Coby Kyros from Sun Cellular running JB 4.1.1 and CPU clocked at 1.5Ghz. Some screenshots later.

How to root your Coby Kyros MID8065

1. Download Crystal_Root.zip. (See attachment below)
2. Copy it to your microSD card.
3. Turn off your tablet.
4. Boot into recovery mode by "Pressing and hold the Volume+ and the Power button simultaneously until it boots into recovery.
5. In recovery select "Apply update from EXT".
6. Select "Crystal_Root.zip".
7. Done.
8. Reboot.

Free lang po sya sir/ma'am sa Plan 899 Boradband ng Sun Cellular. I don't know the SRP ng Coby Kyros MID 8065. Maybe around 6kphp siguro.

install ka ng bagong luncher galing sa playstore then uninstall mo lang yang luma..!

nag hard reset nlng ako sir, di kc maopen ung applications puro unfortunately stop lumalabas.. hehe, am btw thanks po sa pag sagot. and panu po pala rooting neto meron na po ba?

Pa help naman po. Naghang kasi yung corby ko tapos pag on ko na-stuck na sya sa android logo. Pero napapasok pa naman yung recovery mode. Sinubukan ko na sya i-hard reset pero na-stuck din sya dun sa "formatting / data" hanggang ma-lowbat. Baka meron po kayo solution dyan. Jellybean 4.1 n po sya. Di p sya rooted kasi bagong kuha lang sa Sun. Wala p 1 month sakin 'to.

Try mo muna ibalik sa Sun dahil hindi ko pa po nagagawan ng CWM at flashable zip. Pag may time na siguro ako thanks.

Wala pa po ako as of now. And until now wala pa ako naeencounter na problem sa Coby ko. I'll post some solutions pag may time. Thanks.

hello.. naka hang na rin ung coby ko... stuck na sa logo.. is there a way para maayos pa? sabi ng mga technicians sa mga repair shop di daw kaya kase wala daw silang firmware ng 8065..

My coby kyros mid8065 won't go to the recovery boot. I press Volume+ and the power button for about 2-3mins but nothing happens.
